Driving past Bellemont, I saw the DPU's (these two) on a westbound BNSF ethanol train and couldn't let this one get away. After getting to Maine, the worst case scenario happened, an eastbound was approaching as well! I quickly made the decision to stand on the dark side of the tracks so I would catch the BN-KCS DPU combo no matter what. The eastbound cleared about the time these two units passed so I could have caught them on the good side, but you just can't take a risk on a train like this! New plan: catch it at Airport Rd. in Williams and eat lunch there. |
